How to grow our Treasure Coast

Step 1

Remove the lid from the grow kit and fill the container completely with water. When it’s full, place the lid back on the kit.

Step 2

Let the grow kit soak for 9–12 hours in a cool place such as the fridge. After soaking, drain all excess water, remove the lid, rinse it, and keep it for later use.

Step 3

Pour 150 ml of water into the grow bag. This creates the humidity needed for the mushrooms to form their first pins.

Step 4

Place the grow kit inside the grow bag with the water at the bottom. Make sure the kit stands upright and is not submerged in the water.

Tip: During setup, lightly spray the inside of the bag once to increase humidity. The ideal relative humidity for healthy growth is 85–100%.

Step 5

Fold the top of the grow bag twice (about 3 cm each fold) and secure it with paperclips. Position the bag in a warm, bright area with indirect sunlight at 23–27°C.

Step 6

Once small pins appear, open the bag 1–3 times daily to refresh the air. This removes built-up CO₂ and gives your mushrooms the oxygen they need to grow properly.

Step 7

Your mushrooms will be ready in 2–4 weeks. Harvest all of them, including the smallest ones, just before the veils under the caps begin to tear.

Step 8

After harvesting, prepare the kit for the next flush. This grow kit can produce up to three flushes. Simply soak the kit again and repeat the 8 steps.
